GROUP DANCE LESSONS

Coverage:
We cover a number of cities, regions and countries. Please contact us with your interest.

Taster Lessons:

Before joining a group, you may attend one Taster Lesson. Taster Lessons last 1.5 hours. After one Taster Lesson, should you wish to continue, you will be expected to commit yourself to blocks of 4 lessons (there are a total of 8 at any level). Subsequent lessons last 1 hour. We do this in order to:
  1. identify committed learners who wish to progress as a group
  2. cover our expenses

After-Lesson Socials:
(This is not the same as a party). After-lesson socials are available at some (not all) group lessons. If available and a learner stays on, there is no additional fee.
Group Lessons:
We offer three types of group lessons:
  I.  Current Open Groups
II. Future Open Groups (subject to demand)
  III.Closed Groups

  I.  You can transfer to a CURRENT OPEN GROUP from your taster lesson.
II. You can apply to join a waiting list for a FUTURE OPEN GROUP in a city near you. Payment is
on acceptance of a place, so, you do not need to pay to join a waiting list.
III. A group of friends, work colleagues or students can get together and contract us to teach them
as a CLOSED GROUP. The minimum group number is 20. This could be a mix of dances or a
particular dance, at any level and for a pre-determined number of sessions. Payment is on
booking. It may be possible to teach closed groups of less than 20 learners, provided our
      minimum group fee is covered.
Fees:
Taster Lessons can be taken as one-offs, without commitment. After the Taster Lesson, interested learners are expected to financially commit themselves (pre-payment) to a minimum of four 1-hour sessions per level (exclusive of any taster hours taken).

Lesson Delivery Timetables:

Depending on the type of group and its needs, delivery may be over:
  - 8 sessions weekly (e.g; every Wednesday evening), or
  - 4 sessions weekly (e.g; 4 Saturday afternoons), or
  - 2 sessions weekly (e.g; 2 Saturday afternoons), or

Members of a closed group who cannot provide space in their neighbourhood or at their place of work/study, will need to cover the cost of hiring a large studio or a hall. It is possible to find something suitable under £25 per hour.
